11+ & school entrance

11+ tuition that builds calm, focused exam performance

We prepare children for the paper and for the day itself: staying calm, keeping pace, and avoiding the small mistakes that cost places. In person across Kensington and Chelsea, or online anywhere.

The reality of the 11+

Students usually struggle because the exam requires them to:

  • work quickly without losing accuracy
  • stay focused for extended periods
  • manage nerves on the day
  • avoid simple but costly mistakes

Preparation needs to reflect that. This is why we combine strong academic teaching with a focus on how each student thinks and performs under pressure. Your child learns the content, and learns to apply it calmly and consistently in an exam room.

Our approach

Every 11+ programme runs on the same tried-and-tested cycle:

The Learning ProfileTeachTestRefine

It starts with the Infinite Learning Profile: a short assessment that shows your child’s gaps and strengths, and how they focus and remember. Lessons build the core skills, students practise under full exam conditions, and we refine the plan based on real performance.

What makes us different

Measured, not guessed

  • We train students to perform under timed conditions, so accuracy holds at exam pace
  • Every student completes regular mock exams so progress is measured, not guessed
  • We identify patterns in mistakes and fix them systematically, week by week
  • Sessions include short focus routines so students start calm and ready to work
  • We prioritise consistency, so students can perform reliably on the day of the exam

The calm is taught. Every tutor is trained in the Infinite Teaching System by psychotherapist Hannah Kosky (MA, MBACP), including how to steady a child who panics against the clock.

7+, 8+ and pre-tests

The same method, paced for younger children. We prepare pupils for 7+ and 8+ entrance and for school pre-tests, with shorter sessions, gentler pacing, and no drilling for its own sake. At this age the aim is a child who walks into assessment day curious rather than frightened.

Start with a free assessment and a clear plan

A free 20–30 minute conversation about your child and the schools you have in mind. We will tell you honestly where they stand, what the gap looks like, and how we would close it. No obligation either way.
