GCSE

GCSE tutoring that builds confidence, focus and exam performance

Structured GCSE tutoring for students in Years 9–11, supporting both academic progress and confidence during a demanding stage of education.

Our tutors work closely with students to strengthen subject understanding, develop effective study habits, and improve performance under exam conditions. This approach is particularly effective for students who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or capable but inconsistent in their results.

All tutors are DBS checked and experienced across the major UK exam boards. We teach in person across Kensington, Chelsea and nearby London, and online across the UK and worldwide.

Who our GCSE tutoring is for

Our GCSE tutoring is designed for students who:

  • Are in Year 9 or Year 10 and want structured, long-term support
  • Feel stressed or anxious about exams
  • Struggle with focus, organisation, or motivation
  • Understand the material but underperform in tests
  • Need consistent support through to GCSE exams

Many of the families we work with choose to start in Year 10, allowing time to build confidence, close gaps, and prepare calmly for Year 11.

The method

How our GCSE tutoring works

Each student’s GCSE support begins with a free parent consultation, so we understand academic needs, current challenges, and goals before recommending a plan. Your child then completes the Infinite Learning Profile: exam-board-aligned questions that show what they know, and a short questionnaire that shows how they study, focus and remember. We brief their tutor against the Profile before the first lesson, and after every lesson your tutor writes a report you can read in your Parent Dashboard.

GCSE tutoring sessions are:

  • One-to-one or small group, depending on suitability
  • Structured and goal-focused
  • Adapted to how the student learns best
  • Aligned with exam board requirements
  • Designed to build confidence as well as results

We work on study techniques, revision planning and exam readiness alongside subject content.

Supporting exam stress, confidence and focus

GCSEs can be a stressful time for students and families. Alongside subject tutoring, we support students with:

  • Managing exam pressure and anxiety
  • Improving focus and attention during study
  • Building confidence in assessments
  • Developing routines that reduce overwhelm

This integrated approach helps students feel calmer, more organised, and better prepared as exams approach. If your child has ADHD, is autistic, or finds exams especially hard to face, we adapt further: see our SEN support →
